We turned to the spice experts at Spicewalla, a brand who shares our pursuit of premium ingredients and unforgettable flavor, and we're proud to call them a partner for this very special granola!

We’re a small but mighty spice company from Asheville, NC! The mission at Spicewalla is to bring high-quality global flavours to fine restaurants and home chefs alike!
We got our start in 2017 because our founder James Beard Award Winner Meherwan Irani kept getting questions from his chef friends about what spices he was using at Chai Pani. Pulling inspiration from his family’s unique masalas, a spice company was born.
“Whole spices were brought to our home, often in jute sacks from the spice merchants. For days the air would be heady with the scent of roasting coriander, mace, cumin, and cinnamon. After the spices were roasted and cooled, we would blend and grind them in our old, large hand grinder using recipes written on scraps of paper that my grandmother would keep in a box in her dresser." -Meherwan Irani
We source every single spice we use from trusted suppliers in small batches. We also roast and grind some of our most popular blends in-house. From Garam Masala to Cowboy Grilling Rub, each tin is lovingly labelled, packed, and sealed by hand - just for you! Our fragrant little spice factory is located right along the French Broad River, and we’re so proud to call the Blue Ridge Mountains home.
We’ve been cranking out fresh, chef-driven spices and blends for 7 exciting years. During that time, we’ve been named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, collaborated with favorites like Michele’s Granola, Caroline Schiff, and T-Pain, and opened 2 retail spaces! Visit us at our Asheville, NC (above), and Charleston, SC, stores to see, smell, and taste what all the hype’s about!
As we’re recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene, we’re grateful. Grateful that we have a community that really cares about us, and grateful that we’re in a place to continue to give back to them as well. With a portion of proceeds going to Bountiful Cities in NC, you’ll be a part of our city’s comeback with every delicious bowl of Michele's Banana Bread Granola.
